Shawna Huggans, MSN, APRN, ENP-C, FNP-C

Family/Emergency Medicine

Shawna began working for the Family Care Center in January of 2016. Shawna grew up in Wilson, KS, where she graduated from high school in 1991. She attended Barton County Community college where she received her LPN and then RN degree in 1994 and 1995. She attended Fort Hays State University and graduated with a Bachelors of Science in 2004. She finished her education at Fort Hays University with a Master's of Science, Family Nurse Practitioner in 2015. Shawna was a practicing RN for 20 years before returning to the Master’s program for her advanced degree. She is married to Chris. Together they have 6 children, 4 who are adults and 2, Kinley and Kyndal, who live at home here in Concordia. You will find their family out and about at the many community events Concordia offers. They are active members of Fellowship Christian Church where Chris serves as a Deacon and Shawna leads Women’s Ministry.
