Dr. Rump is a fellowship-trained, board-certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in orthopedic trauma and general orthopedics. His clinical focus includes the acute evaluation, management, and treatment of post-traumatic injuries, as well as complex extremity and joint reconstruction. He also performs advanced joint replacement procedures of the shoulder, hip, and knee, including primary and revision surgeries. Dr. Rump earned his medical degree from Midwestern University Chicago in Downers Grove, Illinois, and completed his orthopedic surgery residency at Kansas City University in Kansas City, Missouri. He went on to complete fellowship training at Duke University Hospital and Medical Center in Durham, North Carolina, where he specialized in orthopedic trauma surgery. His practice includes orthopedic trauma surgery with expertise in complex extremity and joint reconstruction, fracture nonunion and malunion correction, periprosthetic fracture reconstruction, and pediatric fracture management. He also provides comprehensive orthopedic care, including sports medicine, arthroscopic surgery of the ankle, shoulder, and knee, hand and foot/ankle surgery, general orthopedic surgery for both adults and children, joint injections, and platelet-rich plasma (PRP) therapy.
