CCHC Holds Nurse Recruitment Event

Cloud County Health Center held a nurse recruitment event, From the Ground Up, on Friday at Cloud County Community College. During the event, nurses from CCHC had the opportunity to talk with students about their experiences. “Cloud County Community College has been a valuable partner for our organization,” said Della Strait, Director of Nursing at CCHC. “We have a long-standing relationship with our community college in providing training for these students. It is our hope, that many of them will consider CCHC after graduation.”

Participants in Friday’s events were treated to a tour of the new North Central Kansas Medical Center. Students donned hard hats to get an idea of where they could be working after construction is complete in the Fall. “We’re building a facility from the ground up, and we will need a constant stream of nursing professionals to provide quality care to our patients,” said Dave Garnas, administrator at CCHC.
