North Central Kansas Medical Center names Natalie Herrs Rehab Services director

(September 4, 2026) – North Central Kansas Medical Center has announced the promotion of Natalie Herrs, DPT, to Rehab Services director, effective Sept. 14, 2026.

Herrs has been a valued member of the NCKMC rehabilitation team for more than three years and brings more than 12 years of physical therapy experience across a variety of clinical settings.

During her time at NCKMC, Herrs has consistently provided high-quality, personalized care to a wide range of patients. She is recognized for her strong communication, organization and problem-solving skills and frequently receives positive feedback from patients. She also provides mentorship to students completing clinical education and is known for supporting and assisting her coworkers.

“Natalie has been a valued member of our rehab team for several years,” said Tyler Deutscher, PT, DPT, senior director of operations at NCKMC. “Her commitment to excellence, and her ability to connect and communicate effectively with her patients and her coworkers, are going to make her a great leader in this organization.”

Herrs earned a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology from Kansas State University in 2011 before earning her doctoral degree in physical therapy from the University of Kansas Medical Center in 2014. She joined the NCKMC rehabilitation team in 2023.

She enjoys working with a wide variety of patients and has pursued additional education in vestibular rehabilitation, kinesiotaping and instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization.

“I am excited for the opportunity to step into the role of director of rehab services,” Herrs said. “I have been fortunate to be a part of this department and work alongside a talented team for the past three years. I am looking forward to supporting our staff, continuing to serve our patients, and finding ways to grow our rehab services to meet the needs of our community.”
