CONCORDIA, Kan. — North Central Kansas Medical Center (NCKMC) has named Tyler Deutscher as its new senior director of operations, effective August 3, 2026. Deutscher will succeed LeRoy Dickinson, who retired from the position in April.
Deutscher has served as director of rehabilitation services at NCKMC for the past seven years. In his new role, he will help oversee hospital operations and continue working to support the delivery of quality health care services to patients throughout North Central Kansas.
“Seeing the growth of our hospital and the services that we are able to provide to the patients we serve has been incredibly rewarding,” Deutscher said. “I am excited to continue to serve our hospital and our community in this new role.”
Deutscher earned a bachelor's degree in biology from Sterling College, where he played baseball for the Warriors for four years. He went on to earn his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Saint Mary in Leavenworth, Kansas, in 2016. During his time at NKCMC, Deutscher has enjoyed serving the North Central Kansas community and providing health care services to area residents.
“Tyler has been an important part of our team, and his experience and commitment to our patients make him a great fit for this role,” said Curtis Hawkinson, NCKMC administrator. “We are excited to see him take on this new opportunity and look forward to the leadership and perspective he will bring as we continue to grow and strengthen the services we provide to our
community.”
