Clinical Laboratory

North Central Kansas Medical Center laboratory is focused on providing high quality testing and results to assist medical providers in the treatment of their patients. The laboratory utilizes state of the art equipment and is available during working hours 7am - 7pm Monday thru Friday. On call for emergency purposes from Monday thru Friday 7 pm to 7am and throughout the weekend. Routine tests are performed in-house while more esoteric tests are sent to reference labs. Our laboratory provides analytical testing and collections: Blood Bank/Immunohematology, Chemistry, Hematology, Immunology, Microbiology, Urinalysis, Coagulation, and Specimen Collection, and Paternity/DNA Collections. Board certified medical technicians and medical laboratory technologists as well as lab assistants work collaboratively to provide outstanding customer service to our patients. The laboratory is under the supervision of a certified pathologist from Petersons Laboratory.
